Following the significant human and economic losses caused by the floods in Pakistan from June to October 2022, which led to a state of emergency declaration, Tearfund, a Christian charity, received funding to implement a relief project. This project provided support to thousands of affected individuals over two phases from September 22 to August 24.
Tearfund is currently seeking an external consultant to conduct an evaluation aimed at ensuring accountability, identifying lessons learned, and enhancing future responses. The evaluation will comprehensively assess the project’s relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, impact, and sustainability, while also ensuring adherence to Tearfund’s standards of accountability to affected groups.
