Save the Children exists to help children affected by crises, or those who need better healthcare, education and protection. We work on the ground, and we campaign to secure positive change. Save the Children believes every child deserves a future. Around the world, we give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm.

Recognising that a full range of health services is required in a humanitarian emergency, and building on previous experience as part of the UK Emergency Medical Team project, Save the Children’s Emergency Health Unit (EHU) has committed to developing a number of mobile, in-patient platforms.  We are therefore issuing this Invitation of Tender to contract with one or more Suppliers to develop, source and store the secondary care health facility. This facility will be intended for deployment in the immediate aftermath of a humanitarian emergency and will focus on delivering high quality, basic emergency secondary health services in a low resource setting, including stabilisation of patients and preparation for transport.
